Kalpana Kartik is a Bollywood actress of the 60s.
KALPANA
Kalpana's actual name is Mona. She was crowned as the beauty queen of her college in Shimla. In 1954 she got married to superstar Dev Anand and has a son named Suniel Anand.
MOVIES
Kalpana has acted in five movies starting with her debut film Baazi by Guru Dutt in 1951. In all fthe five movies she is paired up with husband Dev Anand. Aandhiyan (1952) by Chetan Anand was her second film where she played a character named Janki. In House No. 44 (1955) she plays Nimmo who falls in love with gangster Ashok. Kalpana has also acted in Chetan Anand's Taxi Driver (1954) and her last film as an actress was Nau Do Gyarah (1957).
Kalpana worked as an Associate Producer fo movies like Tere Ghar Ke Samne (1963), Jewel Thief (1967), Prem Pujari (1970), Shareef Budmaash (1973), Heera Panna (1973), and Jaaneman (1976). And Dev Anand played the lead role in most of these movies.
